FAQ

Does the SDK default to the Okatana documentation hostname?

No. A deployment URL is mandatory.

Does the SDK support /app-api/*?

No. That is the internal browser/session surface. This library targets the versioned external /api/v1 API.

Why are some responses dynamic?

Because the supplied OpenAPI file does not define their JSON schema. The SDK does not invent a public Java schema from assumptions.

Why are writes not retried automatically?

The current API has no idempotency key. A timed-out successful create can be duplicated by a blind retry.

Can I use my own HttpClient?

Yes.

Can I use Spring Boot?

Yes. The SDK has no Spring dependency. Register an OkatanaClient bean with your application configuration and inject it where needed.

Can I traverse all tickets/documents automatically?

Yes. Use iterateTickets and iterateDocuments.

Does the SDK preserve future response fields?

Yes. Typed models inherit BaseModel, and dynamic responses preserve all fields.
